Digital Asset Management & Picture Library Demonstration

A fully functional image library and digital asset management system, illustrating some end user features of 'iBase Online Library' - one of iBase Media Services’ digital asset management solutions.

Non-logged in users can see many of the features available. If you log in with user: guest and password: guest you will also be able to:

• - Save selections that will be visible to other guest users or to all users.
• - Email a link to a saved selection.
• - Purchase or request items for non-commercial use free of charge.

Flexible configuration of user features

Registering isn't necessary for this demonstration. Registration and login facilities are options which - like many other features - can be switched on or off as required by you as a system administrator.

There is nothing fixed about how user features have been configured for this digital asset management demonstration, you can configure and reconfigure your own system whenever you wish, to present any features you like for as many classes of end users as you need.

Content based image display with SeeView

As well as the 'Thumb' and 'Detail' views on the gallery page, images can be arranged and displayed according to their colours and general form using SeeView*. To see the content based display you will need a viewer - for PCs we recommend the Cortona 3D viewer which can be downloaded free of charge.

Any gallery can be displayed with SeeView - you will see the images arranged by colour and general form, and by using the viewer's controls and the left mouse button they can be rotated, zoomed etc... Clicking on an image will open its detailed item page. SeeView example of a subject search on the term 'Scenic'.
